Welcome!

   My name is Stephanie, I am the creator and main crafter of Garlands Galore and decor. I have always loved crafty things, I grew up in a DIY family before DIY was a thing. Mom did all the sewing and knitting projects, while Dad took care of woodworking. As a family we travelled around to all the craft shows and festivals selling our handmade goods. Needless to say the apple did not fall far from the tree. I've always had fun playing with wool and felt with Mom, and tinkering around in Dads workshop creating things out of scraps.

   A lifetime of creating led me to my career as a hairstylist. Creating something beautiful that makes people feel good has been so rewarding. For the past 18 years I have been perfecting my skills and building amazing relationships with my clients.

 

 

I live in London, Ontario with my amazing husband Tanner. We are visited every other weekend by his three young children, and one teenager (when he emerges from the computer room). I am also the dog mom to a crazy and wild English Springer Spaniel named Gus, and equally crazy and fun loving Shepherd, Mastiff mix named Chance.

 

           

 In March 2020 we were told to stay home and practice social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. To keep my creative juices flowing and my hands busy and ready to go back to work, I started crafting more. My hobby quickly turned into a passion that I knew needed to be shared with others. It led to the creation of Garlands Galore and Decor. With the help of my handsome man Tanner (he's reading this) we got the website up and running! I knew starting an online business during a pandemic was a risky idea, but I am one stubborn lady and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's been a slow start, with feelings of frustration, and being overwhelmed. But when a customer places an order and share pictures of their purchases in their homes, it is the most rewarding feeling, and makes it all worth it.   

                                                                                                    

Each and every garland, banner, and decoration is made with passion and love, and so much more than anything found in a big box store. I can't wait to send it from our home to yours.
